So I just got my Custom Shop Stratocaster back from an instructor at school who readjusted te action, changed the pickup heights and swapped out the pickguard (MOP for a nice mint green). Now, he told me the action may be a bit lower than I am used to and if I wanted to readjust the action slightly i can twist the screws on the bridge equal distances about a quarter turn. Now, this may seem stupid but, which way to I twist these? Clockwise or counter-clockwise? Also, is this really the best thing to do for a minor adjustment like this?

This a normal right-handed thread. So looking down on the bridge, turn clockwise to raise the saddle and counterclockwise to lower the saddle. Use very small turns... 1/4 is alot!
