While I myself personally have not tried one I do have some friends that have.
They had theirs on their guitars for about 1 month to give it a fair chance. Then they were removed and sold.

Thanks for the info - doesn't seem to be too popular around here. I especially liked the way it would instantly turn your strat into a hardtail... also like the way you could do some heavy manual note bending without the worry of the other string going out of tune.

i think that is a great idea, however, i wont fix something thats not broken.
but if you want to purchase it go for it. the install does not look difficult at all, the options that it gives is pretty good.

still, pretty damn good idea though by those guys at tremol no

Yeah. I have agree on the woodblock thing. Looking back now, 10 years ago I wish I had ordered a hard-tail strat, instead of getting a tremolo that I'll never use.
