I have owned my Custom Classic Strat for almost 6 months at this point, love it. It has the Modern Classic Pickups, with the "Custom Steel Inductance Plate". I like very much to switch out the pickups of my guitars, but haven't decided for sure if I'm going to switch these out. Sometimes I like the sound, sometimes not. I really overall am not a fan of Fender Pickups.

I would, however, like to find out the specs (Ohm) of these pickups, as well as their polarity. I cannot find this information anywhere and I have searched endlessly.

Also on a less important note, what is the "Custom Steel Inductance Plate" good for. Google this and all you'll find is the description of the Custom Classic, and this phrase therein. Kind of redundant... It's almost like this was made up by fender. What does it do? If it matters, the tone from my Bridge/Middle position is breathtaking on this guitar with some good dirt.
