So I assume in 2014(correct me if Im wrong) we will see a Strato-Bration series from Fender since they are doing it with telecasters. I for one am very excited! The Strat is my favorite guitar so I am going to have to get in on this. Who else is with me?

I can't wait for next Anniversary Strats, but it's a long time to 2014. Who knows what is going to happen to year 2014.

I am holding off doing a Strat build until after 12-21-12. I hope that there will be a Strato-bration in 2014.

What exactly would a "Strato-Bration" be?

I'd settle for a righteous Buddy Holly tribute model.

Nothing spectacularly fancy -- just a maple-board "shallow V" '58 with 3TSB nitro finish and perhaps a neckplate inscribed with Buddy's likeness.

(yeah, I could build it myself but if Fender wanted to motivate me to buy a new guitar, this would do it)

Anybody in Scottsdale listening......?

A Stratocaster celebration! For the 60 anniversary of the Tele this year Fender came out with a limited run of 12 different types of telecasters. They dubbed it the Tele-Bration.
I am assuming they will do it for the Strat too.

Sounds awesome for sure. Me, I'll take a Voilinburst with a flame top, gold hardware and rosewood neck please. Oh and don't forget the abalone dot inlays. Thats my dream Strat!

Strato-bration???? That just sounds silly.

Obviously it should be the "Ex-Strato-ganza".

No?
