On a vintage 2 3/16 six-screw tremolo bridge is there any functional difference between stamped saddles and the die cast ones?

Were die casts an improvement or a cost saving change?

If you were replacing an unknown trem assembly a with fender assembly which would you choose? And why?

Good question - As I see it, the stamped saddles sound better with single coil equipped instruments and the die cast/stainless steel sound better with humbuckers or ceramics.

I have an American strat that has the die cast. I'm thinking of getter these for a more "authentic" strat tone.

Well done Strataholic,

I've been wondering if saddles like these were available.
Something to consider. I'll have to start wrapping pennys.
I spent all my money on new tubes{valves}.

Thanks again.

Cheers.
