So I bought a MiM Black with Rosewood fingerboard HSS stratocaster recently. Guitar cost me $150 and its in great physical condition with some wear. I've purchased a EMG kh20 loaded pearl pickguard that I'm going to put in it! Putting American series string guides on it, fender corona neck plate, American trem with black tip. I have with everything i have 380$ invested, whatcha think? I'm excited to make this guitar my own cause I have a stock USA sienna sunburst strat and a stock avri57 strat I refuse to mess with. It's cheap and its gunna be the guitar I start taking with me to my lessons or wherever I go without worrying about it getting damaged or stolen.

Sounds very cool. I agree, leave the MIAs stock and the MIM is a great platform to mod. You'll have an awesome guitar for not much money. Post some pics when you finish.

Haha I think once I get comfortable modifying this mim stratocaster, ill buy some more USA strats to mess with! Im only 21, haha I got a long life to collect strats. I've got other guitars but I don't play them cause I just love the stratocaster feel.

Yeah I love making a Fender strat mine I use Fender parts but Dimarzio pickups are so nice the Injecters and Area 67 for the middle.
If you use a humbucker the D'Activater for a fender bridge and a Super Distortion for a Floyd Rose
I like the Deluxe Locking Tremolo and the LSR Nut with Locking Tuners I got that on my Deluxe.
A Super Vee tremolo is cool too

So I just everything in and got my guitar all set up unfortunately I bought a heavier gauge of strings and need to buy new tensions springs cause the bridge keeps rising. I'll get some pictures up right now.
