Post subject: Can anyone shed any light on these pickups?

These came in a 79 Strat I bought. Just wondering what the heck they are. Stock? Aftermarket? If so, any idea of the maker? Any insight would be appreciated. Not familiar with the stock equipment for that era. THANKS!

Thats not stock for that era. It should have gray backs (bobbins) and plastic leads. These have black bobbins and cloth leads. No idea what they are. They look to be some decent Alnico pickups though.
