Hey Collinsml - how are you enjoying the HR57? An updated status report?

Anything you don't like?

That's a great looking Strat you've got there. Enjoy!

Hi and thanks for your interest on my VHR57! I'm still enjoying it. It's in the shop right now getting tweaked (I have a so-so tuner and though I do my own setups I like to get it checked by a pro at least once every couple of years). I'm not so enthusiastic about the the tone zone. I like the clarity of a strat and the TZ seems a bit darker than I prefer/am used to. I don't play loud and I've read some posts that say that's where this particular configuration shines... I really like the SCNs though. I recently picked up a Strat Pro (see it in the "Lets Talk Custom Shop") that's been getting my attention lately.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm itching to try one to compare it with a standard AVRI 57. But, I can't find a HR 57. I may have to order one, just so that I can compare the two.

Nice guitar. I love 2-color-sunburst.

I'm very happy for you.

Nope. I'm in PA. Can't find an HR57 anywhere nearby. So, I may have to order one and return it if I don't like it. I've found an AVRI 57 to compare it with. I do like that.

Anywhere close to Hanover, PA? If so, I can highly recommend a Fender dealer in MD, not far from Hanover, PA...

Quick question: any of you fellow HR57 owners have wiring as described in the specs? Specifically, is your bridge controlled by tone one and neck by tone two (middle wide open)?
