I have a Blues Deluxe & AC-15C1. Love both to pieces and wouldn't get rid of either. Never tried the Jr. but I bet it's good!!

Hi,I have a 2004 62 AVRI,I have used it very little and always taken care of it,I was very happy with the condition of the guitar until a few months ago i felt and saw a blister and small cracks appearing around the neck pocket area where neck attaches to the body of the guitar, but one week ago went to investagate if this had got any worse and found a totally new blister that has appeared which a very obvious crack on the treble side horn.My guitar was bought brand new from my local guitar shop and has no contact from guitar stands or rubbers to cause any reaction, and where the cracks are aren't where a guitar stand would be in contact with. Its not a major though, but all my other USA made Fenders have not done this,Cheers

Sorry about your issues with your axe. 1500 bucks IS a lot of money for an axe. I've painted a few axes myself and batches of paint vary each time I go to the supply house. I'm sure Fender has the highest QC of any manufacter of guitars but as suggested, I'd contact Fender and register a complaint. SAVE any correspondence to or from them and if you call, get the reps FULL name and title. Hope you get help for that issue man.

Thanks man. I actually decided not to call Fender for the time being. I had kept the guitar on a rack for awhile and thought maybe if that was the problem then the damage would stop if I started storing it in it's case. A few weeks after I started storing it in the case another chip of paint came off, so I dunno what the problem is. I can live with the damage because I really like the guitar. I love everything about it really and if I got it replaced, I may not like the next one as much. I talked to my dealer and he assured me that we could call Fender at any point (lifetime warranty) and deal with this so we both agreed the best move was to keep the guitar for awhile and monitor any further damage.
