believe or not im the lead guitarist of our band.
we had practice tonight, our singer is the rhythm guitarist.
we did mary jane's last dance, she sells sanctuary, another brick in the wall,
creep, sunshine of your love.
we also did a couple of random jams.
i had loads of fun doing real songs, makes a big difference with a real band.

i used my hr62 strat, with my egnater tweaker and a boss blues driver, forgot the reverb pedal, and at that loudness i didnt miss the reverb.

I got offered a spot in a deathcore band. Immediately said "If I use my Tele for deathcore, it'd be like committing an act of blasphemy before the renaissance."

Playing with other musicians is rewarding at times and frustrating at other times but it all does one thing...it gives you experience and that's something good to have.....lots of people never get out of the house....and it's not easy to transform from a bedroom/living room player to a gigging guitarist...you have to work at it.

Good luck to you, I've been in more bands than I can count on both hands.It is frustrating working with other people especially ones who are narrow minded.For me it was the drummer always having to leave.THe only instrument I cannot do is drums so jsut remember knowing more is good and doing even more is better.Sounds like you have a good sound brewing.Upload some stuff when you have it.

I guess I was with a band for a short time, if you could call it a band. It was 2 guitarists and a drummer. I had only been playing for 3 months at the time. We sounded alright though.

That's how The Misfits started out. Maybe you'll be as big as them one day. They're also playing a show in my city in October.

Congrats on playing with a band. It's great for experience and getting out of your comfort zone. My playing got so much better after playing with other musicians on a regular basis.
