Post subject: Gold Lace Sensor Problem

I just bought a brand new a gold Fender Lace Sensor,and it isn't working.I tried every possible wiring even soldering directly to the output jack.Is it dead or am i doing something wrong?

Howdy!

Lace Sensors are a hardy pickup and as a company have pretty good quality control, which is why I'm going to ask you this next question (apologies if you've already wired it correctly)

Can you confirm that you've wired it correctly with the Orange wire (+) going to the switch and the White and Green wires (-) to ground?

If you've got that bit right then, as Martian says it's possible that you may have a duff pup. I'd contact Lace Customer Support and see what they'll do about replacing it for you.

I did solder it correctly(orange to switch,green+white to ground) and it is not working.I contacted the dealer and it will be replaced.Thanks for the replies!
