I can't recall when I purchased the guitar and do not have the certificate of authencity but it is in impeccable condition with a serial # V035237. I would appreciate it if someone at the Custom Shop can tell me when this model was manufactured and do you have any specs for the guitar that you can send me? I am thinking of selling her and would like to have a accurate description of the guitar if possible. Thanks.

Probably not a Custom Shop guitar - as far as I can remember Fender has only used the "V" prefix serial numbers on the "US Vintage" series which was renamed the "American Vintage" series around 1998. Because Fender had started using these numbers on this series before there was a Custom Shop the Custom Shop has stayed away from using "V" prefix serial numbers.

Still a great guitar; outside of the AV '52 Tele (and not every year of it) they didn't have any certificates like the CS guitars.

Chances are it's an American Vintage '57 Strat. It will have vintage specs, like a 7.25" radius fretboard, vintage style frets and bridge with an "ash tray" bridge cover. Most likely '57/'62 pickups. Not sure how long they've been using those particular pickups though. You can probably email Fender and they can tell you when the guitar was made. You can also take the neck off and see if there's a date on the neck or body joint to get a general idea.
