I´ve just bought a "Fender US Standard Stratocaster" produced in 1997-1998...
Could anyone tell me the specs...??? pu´s... etc...

Not much different than the 2010 or earlier MIA strats. 9.5" radius, 22 med-jumbo frets, three Fender US single coils, etc... The 2011 models went back to the vintage bent saddles. Yours should have a longer box like shape.

Two string trees instead of one because of non-staggered tuners. Flat pole pieces, different magnets in the pickups. Possible veneer body and swimming pool route. Stainless block saddles. Lack of original contour body logo. Different style of strap buttons. Glossy finish on the maple fretboards and peghead on the newer models. That's about all I can think of. Don't believe anyone who might tell you that the changes made in 15 years make that guitar anything less than the new ones. Mine sounded like a strat and played great. That's what everybody's really looking for, right?
