Hey all, I'm new to the forum. Seems like a great place to meet other Fender fans and there's a wealth of knowledge floating around here!

I'm in the market for a new strat so I've cruising the internet for some deals and found this guitar. I'm not sure what to think of it. I haven't seen too many Fender's with this sparkle grey paint and the head of the guitar is shaped and has a logo like a Highway One Strat. I do see the line on the back on the neck and the inlay at the end of the fretboard so that clues me that it may be real. What do yall think? Anyone seen one like it. I'm fairly inexperienced when it comes to this kind of thing so ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

The link below has pictures of the guitar.

Fake. Maybe a Squier at best (not worth $300 at all).
Don´t buy it.

Cheers,
Robin

Thanks guys.

The guy returned my email and said there were no serial numbers on it. You think this might be a squire that someone replaced the neck on/put a strat logo on? I didn't realize that squires had the line going up the backside of neck and inlay at the end of the fretboard.

I've got a 90's squire affinity series. I'm wanting to upgrade from that so I'm glad to get some input from yall thinking that it's fake.
