i'm glad your all loving my strats as much as i do i 'd just like to say a few things about them all , the 89 natural looks much better in person it was a beaten to hell battleaxe , it was my no 1 axe for a long time and showed a lot damage to the black poly finish , so i ended up sanding it down a few years ago and giving it an oiled finish , now it looks like a new giutar and it sings like a church bell , it's had a full rewire with cts pots , pio cap and usa pups ( the ones with the screws in the bridge pups ) , unfortunatley the mij pup covers didn'tfit the mpole spacings (a pity )

the 85 mij was my bro in laws guitar he bought it new but never really played it much and it become more of an ornament hanging on his wall then around 10 years ago he dimantled it and started to sand the body but soon got fed up with the poly finish , i got it in bits a few months ago and started to respray the body but the weather turned cold so it's not the best finish on it at the moment (i'll sort that out next summer )i'e given it a rewire with vintage cloth wire cts pots , pio cap and usa pups (texas specials i think ) the sound sweet

the 40th anni strat has spent most of it's life in it's case , there are a few marks on the body , mostly the rear , but i'm slowly polishing the majority of the out , the only other thing i done to it was to deck the trem, and put another 2 springs in , i love this strat to bits , cheers
