Post subject: Mayer neck and hot rod 62 neck

I went on a mission to play a mayer signature strat and a vintage ho trod 62 strat and take one home but they only had the mayer :roll: I really did not care for the Mayer neck at all. the back profile was fine but the fingerboard edges were boxy and felt unfinished.... before I order a 62 online how does the neck compare to the mayer? is the 62 hot rod boxy also? fender should have product line neck profile comparison diagrams like warmoth :P

I have the '62 Vintage Hot Rot and it's an awesome guitar, I'm pretty sure the neck on the 62HR is about the chunkiest neck Fender is putting on any of the Strat models. If it's not the biggest it'd be close. I love it. 8)
