That is a truly beautiful instrument.

2 questions:

What type of pickups?

Other question - I've always wondered about the ability of older guitars to stay in tune as well as new guitars w/locking tuners.

Do you give up anything with a relic (older version of tuners) compared to the new strats w/locking tuners, higher mass bridge blocks etc.

Just curious - but a gorgeous instrument that inspires you to play for sure.

Congratulations!

Hi Zap73.
I own a CS with the vintage-type hardware.
It is the most stable electric guitar I have played.
I am not savy enough to know what the turn ratio is on the tuners. But I know they work wonderfully. Here´s this tuning machine that looks all withered and stuff, yet performs outstandingly well. My CS stays perfectly in tune!
