I just bought a couple SCN pickups off of ebay for my strat, and they came in the mail today. The problem is I can't tell if they're parchment or aged-white...this is an issue b/c I'm ordering a new pickguard, knobs, etc.

Now, I can tell which one's the middle and which is the neck, based on the ST-MD and ST-NK writing on the bottom of the pickup. There's a white square to the right of the ST listing with a letter P in it. Does that mean they're parchment?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aged white and parchment go good together. Or, Take one of the caps off one of the pickups and take it down to your music store. I suggest Guitar Center or Sam Ash, they usually have all accesories in stock. Once there, you can match up the knobs, 5 way selector switch and pickguard to your pickup cap.
Aged white is a dark cream color.
Parchment is slightly off white.
But beware, sometimes on ebay people say aged white and when they show up they are mint green. Always ask the seller if they are actually aged white or green in color.

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking that I'll go for the tortoise shell pickguard, so I'll only have to make sure the knobs match the pickups. I'm getting a custom pickguard from Warmoth, so I want to get the order right the first time. My bridge pickup is still a white hot rails, but it doesn't look bad next to the parchment/aged-white pickups.

Tortoise is killer, excellent choice. Those pickguards go with just about everything.
