Hey all. I was wondering what the value of a used 07 (possibly early 08) Fender American Deluxe HSS Strat is? It has a few dings and scratches. There's one little indent where one of the latches on its case came down on it and a few dings but nothing too bad. Everything on it works great. I was just wondering how much I could get for it realistically?

Ebay $1100 to $1300

Its worth somewhere in the $800-1000 in real money, depending on where you live, and what is availa. EBay isn't really a good place to price them, most are overpriced. Putting a large selling price will just make you sit on it longer. Guitar centers website, in the used section is the best place to get an idea, they tend to have the most realistic prices. They want to sell them so they price then right. Everyone thinks their guitar is special, and tend to ask too much. A few will get close to their price, but most end up taking what its really worth. A HSS is in less demand, not that there is anything wrong with them, its just that SSS's are bought at much higher rate.

There's a 2010 American Standard on CL in Boston for $800

I would agree with between $700 and $800. There are simply too many of them for sale to pay more. It's a shame considering the cost of a new one but..... just like new automobiles!

Yeah Deluxes loose they're value I have looked at a lot of them they are about an $800 used.
