That's not correct. The round lam fingerboard started around Aug 1962.

Someone ought to cue up Ceri's master guitar project for those who have never seen it.

As for those truss rod adjustments back in the day, I was not in my pram, and too often took a piece out of the scratchplate when one attempted to used a respectable screwdriver.
