I had a really nice Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat that I traded off for a Heritage HFT445 and a really cool strat...

1996 Fender Tex-Mex Strat (Only flaw is a major ding/hole on the bottom of the guitar near the edge of the pickguard.

Anyone know the spec's on this? All my research shows up as Jimmy Vaughn Tex-Mex, not this one which I'm assuming was the predecessor to Vaughn's guitar.

I asked Fender for some history on the guitar. They couldn't find any, but the previous owner was able to get the information from Fender when he owned it. (I'm inclined to believe Fender just didn't want to bother looking it up.) All they told me it was made in 1995. I could of figured that out from the serial number. You should've posted a pic of the Heritage too. I'm not Ford vs. Chevy when it comes to guitars, I like them all.

1990 Heritage HFT 445. Less than 100 of these were ever made.

That's a pretty nice combo you've got going for you. I've been getting into acoustic music more and more lately.

I cannot complain. Couldn't afford a nice Martin or Gibson. Even "relic'd" or beat up ones are not as nice as this one or as affordable. Classic American made acoustic.

I've got a Seagull and it's pretty pleasing to my ears. North American made at a reasonable price, and beats a Baby Taylor or Martin travel guitar. I had one of those and the top cracked as soon as I got off the plane from my tour in the Middle East. It sure was easy to get up and down that neck though.

If I didn't get the Heritage, I was going to purchase a Seagull Original 6

Thanks! I'm just able to sponge off the fortunes of others and get the scraps.
