Hello All,

I am searching for a very important guitar. My husbands father bought him a guitar in 1994. It was a Fender Stratocaster 40th Anniversary in what I have been told was a rare Midnight Blue color. Unfortunetly 6 months after my husband recieved this special gift, his father was taken from him by cancer. My husband cherished this guitar. Recently, our home was broken into and we were robbed. The guitar was one of the things that was taken and I am searching for a replacement. If anyone has said guitar or knows someone who does and is willing to sell, please contact me at shannonjaeger@hotmail.com. Thank you all for your time and consideration.

Shannon

unless the thief is a guitarist, they will probably try to sell it. visit local guitar shops and pawn shops. also check ebay. this person is probably looking to trade it for cash

Yes that is the right color, but I checked with them and they do not have that guitar anymore.

And I have checked all local pawn shops, the newspapers, and ebay with no luck.

This is horrible Shannon, I truly hope you find it. My father passed a few years ago and I have his acoustic, I dont know what I would do if it was stolen.

Not only do I hope you find the guitar I hope you find the person who took it.
I offer my condolences to you and your husband.

I hope you find the original Shannon - thieves are normally stupid, so they will slip up eventually and get nailed - I hate to hear this happened though!

It might help if we knew what City and State the guitar was stolen from. Some of us have contacts all over the U.S.
It would also help if we had a complete description and Serial #.

Hey Shannon you may have moved on but if you do read this, Chets last post is dead on. I had a guitar stolen once from a guy whose dad owned the Spinx gas stations in our area so he wasn't a person you would see as a thief but enough people, musicians and non musicians knew him so when a few of my friends found out that this paticular guitar was stolen from me I had several people give me a good idea as to who had it and enough info for the police to arrest him. Someone showing up any where with a new guitar new or used sticks out like a new hair do so get a good discription out to everyone you can including your husbands friends. Don't just focus on the usual suspects it can be someone somewhat close to you. unfortunatly. And Good luck

There are some sites that you can post your stolen gear on. Do you have the serial number from the Strat?
