Post subject: 1993 mim strat. string spacing?.plus other upgrade?'s advise

I have a mim 93 strat i want to do some upgrading
i need to know what the string spacing is. i want to buy some differnt crome steel
bridge saddles. they look more like the american verions.

Also does anyone know for sure if the fender locking tuners will fit a mim strat without mods'/redrilling holes.

i am going to put seymore duncan every thing axe pickups in it.
a brass trem block
new bone nut. not sure if bone is the best for a strat.
new locking tuners.

any help or advise i would greatful

Hi anaconda44,

If you have a MIM Standard, the string spacing, and bridge mounting spacing are both 2-1/16". The Fender locking tuners are a drop in replacement for Standard tuners. :idea:
