I'm thinking of buying a used custom strat
I have a budget of about 2500$
I know it's changing from person to person
But basically what are the best kind of custom strats I can buy with this budget (used,not new...)

I don't know if there is a "best" custom strat - that's why they're custom; because they're all different. I'd say the best custom strat is one you can afford that feels good and sounds right.

For around $2500 you can have a new US Custom Shop Fender made to your liking (within reason).

I guess I missed out on the "cork-sniffing" chromosone in my genetic make-up.



Assuming I could even get someone at the Custom Shop to listen to me, any guitar they could build that I deemed worthy of ownership would cost in excess of five large......I can do it myself for less than two. Looks the same, plays the same, sounds the same. The COA and the custom case candy? Who friggin' cares? That has nothing to do with what "feeds the bulldog".
