Hi all, I've been advise to put a thread up here in the hope that someone can shred some light about the history of my guitar. I know a little of what I was told by the guy who sold me it, I'd just like some facts on it, not maybe's if you get my meaning. The guitar cost me at this that time £5000. I was told it's belonged to a collector in the USA who payed something near $10.000 for it. who knows

OK, Ten year back I brought my Custom USA Strat its from a run of 30 only, mine is No : 7
when I got my hands on this it felt so good in that the,feel, balance, tone etc was way above any other guitar I'd played and I've had a few in my life time. I've gigged with it since owning it and it sound great to play numbers by the Shadow etc.

Hi and welcome - that's a nice looking CS Strat you have there. Unfortunately I can't help you on the model - the CS has done so many small-batch runs like that over the years it's hard to keep track of them.

I would suggest also posting this info in the "Custom Shop" and in the "Ask Mike Eldred" sections of the forum - Mike Eldred runs the Custom Shop; he should be able to track down some information for you.
