The Cray neck is a bit chunkier in cross-section than a standard '62 type. And of course the fretboard radius is flatter at 9.5", with medium jumbo frets. I can't stand mine, being "raised" on the original 7.25" radius and vintage frets.

62 USA hot rod reissue strat has a big neck and would match your guitar.

I had the same issue with the 60's reissue necks, they felt thin, and the fretboard felt too round, like i was playing on a broom stick.
I just got an aftermarket. For the price, they were much better than a used Fender neck. For what I paid, I got a Custom Shop neck, at a MIM used price. I now use an altered 50's V profile with a compounded radius fretbaord.

You could refret the neck with taller frets. This will make the neck "thicker" because the distance between the back of the neck, and the strings have increased. You can have them compound either the fretboard(leaving it 7 1/4 at the low register, and flatten to a 10"), or have them do it to the frets.

It'll cost you about the same as a complete warmoth neck, but you'll still have YOUR Strat neck on the guitar.

The Robert Cray will feel thicker because it has a V profile. But so does the Clapton and Jimmy Vaughn straight. If you really want a sweet thick MIM neck, look for a used Kenny Wayne Shepard neck.
