Some may know what this is from, but I need some opinions here - what fret radius do you think this is? I don't believe that the photo is warped or skewed in any way.

Print this out and and measure it instead of guessing:

Haha, I have those and thought about doing it that way,

But they're only accurate in a picture if you have an absolute side angle and the picture is blown up to proportion. Since I don't really have a basis to blow it up on (the end of the fretboard over the 2-3/16" wide neck joint is blurry anyway and it's the best shot I could get), I can't really do it in that manner.

+1
I don't understand,do you have the guitar or just a picture?
Your statement about having the guages and not being able to see what it is that way is vague.

Hey All,

Found a better picture after scrounging around on the internet (yes, this is not my picture, and I'll credit the picture-taker later). The reason I feel the need to post this one again is because I'm almost positive it's 9.5" or 12". I'll let you guys know what type of Strat it is after a few more responses.

I do not have the guitar at the moment, but am interested in it. Also what I meant by the gauges is that measuring the fretboard at an angle doesn't do me very much good. I would need to be looking right at the truss rod adjustment screw if I want to take an accurate measurement.

That is a better shot. From that angle it looks like a 9.5" to me.

The neck a lam-board -- the AVRI '62s are all slab-boards.

Thats definitely a 9.5" radius as long as there's no distortion in the image.

You had me staring staring down one of my strat necks held against the PC monitor. Could have ended badly..

Nah, the only thing similar to an SRV is the gold hardware. Pickup pole peices, pickguard (may have been changed), radius, veneer are all wrong.

Did they make the SRV Masterbuilt Tribute with a 12" radius or a rounder radius? I know Stevie's guitar (though, I'm talking about the neck is used through most of its life as a played instrument) didn't start with a 12" radius but was really worn down by his playing and refretted multiple times. Not sure what they ended up building the Custom Shop version as. Or maybe they were made with a 9.5" radius fretboard and 12" radius frets?

Also, doesn't the SRV Masterbuilt have a round lam neck as well?

(ignore this if you're talking about the signature Strat, hah)

EDIT: Here's one more picture of the guitar. The frets are a little clearer and you can see the whole neck.
