I was just wondering, has anyone every tried to put a Jaguar pickup in a Strat? :?

I've done a few. By comparison with 'regular' Strat pickups, they are slightly more powerful, the lows and midrange are fuller but the highs are less yet not in a pleasing way for on a clean setting, they sound a bit 'blah'. Heavily over driven, they show signs of potential but not quite to 'standards' where you are clearly left wanting more.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.

Those are pretty much P-90's. Its very possible to use them, but don't expect any quack from the strat using them. I'd wager it would be a very power tone you get from it, but wouldn't hurt to try it out and let us know how it goes.
