SRV, i feel he is a much more innovative player... i enjoy BB king, but not as much as srv

but this is probably the wrong forum.... most likely belongs in the "the which artist?" thread in the fender lounge

Both are legends, but I have to say SRV.

I'm not entirely sure of the question, but I prefer listening to BBK over SRV. Stevie is just too "over the top" for my taste. BB plays with less flash and more soul, IMO.

Tough call. Two great guitar players with two different sounds and styles. But, I still gotta give it to SRV. But I do love B.B. If you ever have the chance make sure to see him live and in the flesh. There are not many things more moving then seeing that man perform. I have had the privlege of seeing him twice. I was too young when SRV was around, I was only 10 when he left us.

its hard to compare them. they are completely different in the way that they played guitar. amazing guitarists though.

I have to say, I like SRV better, because his music was way more aggressive and guitar driven.

try comparing SRV and Jimmie Vaughn. thats a hard decision.

Strange question in a Strat forum since not only are the styles different but the axes. If you like BB better'n SRV you probably aren't poking around the Fender website. (previous posters excepted and duly noted) And this is why most of the respondents here have choosen SRV we're all playing the same instrument.

I couldn't choose. I'm a huge fan of both and there's not a competition. They play completely different styles of music.

BB is a blues legend, the Strat is an excellent blues instrument, which can do BB and also put on a lot more edge even when playing his licks. That's why many of us who love Strats also love BB King.

Blues Boy,
re-read Bluestube's question. He was making a funny because the poll question misspelled Vaughan.
