Well it's a positive experience in the sence that you've learned a few things!
And let me tell you something my guitar has seldom been in another mans hands.
A guitar to me is like a girlfriend/ lover you never lend'em out to your friends!
And not only that but your friend should always carry a back up set of strings!
that's my golden rule when I travel with my guitar!
Besides you've aquired a surtain relationship with your guitar it's a good grip and feel that's important!
So in conclusion don't be a push over and lend out your stuff! XD

Long ago we got a gig playin a Polish wedding,,We had no idea they were expecting traditional Polish polka music. I knew one polka,, i learned when i was a kid. Fortunetly there was lots of free booze. We all got drunk and made the best of it . It was still a nite from Hell.

OK, here's my story...

My band is playin' at a school dance. We just start on our first song, and our lead singer pulls out a harmonica. Every student left. He stoppped playing it, and everyone came back. He started playing again, and everyone left. We wound up playing for only like twenty people. It was terrible. I can also safely say that it was our last gig as a band.
