They're even better when compared to Gibson support which could care less about your problems or questions. Last time I called Gibson to complain about a guitar that was totally unfinished: sharp fretwork, overspray, glue everywhere, non existent setup...it was unplayable which I consider totally unacceptable for a $1800 guitar...they ignored me. Wouldn't respond to calls or email. They didn't care at all. They got my money, the finish work was my problem as far as they were concerned. I returned the guitar for a full refund and sent a nasty letter to the VP of Sales, which went unanswered too. I don't see me buying another Gibson again.

yep, if that happened with fender i'm sure they'd at least listen to you and possibly even send you a new guitar since they take pride in their craftsmanship it seems

That's good to hear.

I've had luck with other companies too. For example, SKB sent me some free hardware after a butterfly latch broke on one of my rack cases.

I have also had good luck with responses from Fender. Good thing because I have invested alot of money in Fender equip., compared to only a few hundred dollars worth of other brand equip. Rock on Fender....

Yes the Fender folks are quick to help that is for sure. I have also had good luck with SKB. D'Addario is another company that I had good luck with. Can anyone tell me what they all have in common?

Well, yes but I was thinking along the lines of all great American companies. Of course I wasn't including all of the Fenders made around the world. LOL!

The block under my bridge on my new `08 American Standard Strat was defective out of the box, the hole was drilled at an angle and I couldn`t screw the whammy bar in. One look from an authorized Fender repairman and the new block was replaced right away. Their pretty good to deal with and they back up their products. BTW, they sent me a Fender logo tee shirt for the inconvience.

I think this forum alone shows Fenders willingness to go the extra mile to support its customers and fans.
