Because Strats aren't all the same. Mine both have humbuckers in the bridge position, but they're completely different other than that. And my Harmony Strat copy is different from my two Strats.

I thought that too, more or less, until yesterday, when I picked up a 2007 "EC Blackie" for a decent price. I goes great with the Am Dlx. Two different guitars, both great Strats IMO.

I'd love to find an early 2000's AD in trans teal with the locking 2 point trem, but that can always be added.

My problem with a CS order would be choosing between custom/vintage paint colors, or nekkid, beautiful grain. And then there's Pamelina... Decisions decisions..

My own custom because I know exactly what's going into it and I can make it fit my needs 100%, rather than the 99.9% that every other Fender fills.

The standard MIM Strat body is made of alder. Some other MIM Strats, like the Deluxe Player's Strat and a few FSR's, are ash..

Hey everybody,

well, my first ever strat was a lovely white RSS model from 2/1998.

and my second strat was (who would wonder) another RSS model in cherry sunburst.

Just had fallen in love with the cherry sunburst and got it for a very good price.
I bought both of them within 3 weeks.......

Now, I still have to save up money though, I am planning to get a nice CS model. Maybe in a year or two.

Bye JULIA

I think I am going to get a Black Fender Blacktop Floyd Rose Strat and put Dimarzio D'Activaters in it.

This question honestly had me stumped. I had to think about what kind I'd buy. Probably a vintage from the 70's or a 60's RI.

Why not buy several?

Lord knows, they're cheap enough.
