No, the DRRI is a swell sounding amp. I almost bought one myself, but I found I could get a lot more out of an Egnater Rebel for fewer buckazoids.

I'm not saying the DRRI isn't a good amp, because it is. I'm just saying that IMO, a Blues Jr. will never get you into that territory that a Deluxe Reverb covers.


I was looking at the rebel 30 also, the xtension cab looked really nice(ported in the front) I'm nowhere close to being able to afford that amp yet, well sorta, but I think I'm gonna get the MIM, before I save up for an amp, I already have enough for that. Any opinions on what I should get first amp or guitar? Right now I have a BC rich gunslinger retro. FR original, Dimarzio chopper in neck Super dist. in bridge. And my amp is an old Roland Blues Cube 30.
