Wow, I really do like the way this pup sounds.

A few days back I had asked and there was discussion about tone pots.

since I didn't have a 500K pot laying around, I wired it using the existing 250K volume and tone pots. I also had a question about it that I sent to Seymour Duncan (really quick response thank you). In it, I also asked them about the tone pot. For this pup, the guy at SD recommended the 250 and if I wanted it brighter, could go with the 500K.

I like the way it's sounding just the way it is now. Still need to play with pup height to dial it in, but it is rich and kind of dark which is exactly what I wanted. Handles distortion well but it's that fat clean sound and the "verge of break up" tone that I am really liking.

Thought you guys would like to know the final result.

Very cool...I've wondered about those pups for the bridge position in a Telecaster...might be worth examining.

Congrats on your new pickup, by the way...do you have a sound sample?
