I'm guessing that it's a run of the mill American Std. from the late '80s. It will worth whatever those guitars are going for these days.

Yes it has signature, but that's all subjective. You won't a listing in any Guitar Blue book for signed guitars. There might be a book out there covering that topic, but who knows.

In the end you'll get whatever anyone is willing to pay for it.

I would take the guitar to an expert on such things.

When it comes to signed/autographed guitars the paperwork attached is where the money for it would come in...got to have the provenance or it is just a guitar and worth only what the guitar is worth.

The signatures appear to be BB King, EC, Buddy Guy, not sure who the last one is.

I have a Eric Clapton Signature Strat autographed by the man himself...I won it in a contest. But the paperwork that came with it from the Radio Station is what makes it worth more money.

I was able to get my home built Strat by Robert Cray, but i doubt that I would get any extra money for it. It's one of those things that if the buyer is a fan than it will be important. If they aren't they are not going to care.

On a side note about getting things signed. I tried to have a buddy of mine working a Clapton shop to get my EC Strat pick guard signed and Clapton said, "I'm not doing any signs tonight. I'm tired and I'm heading home."

When I saw B. Guy and R. Cray in Nashville R. Cray was very cool about it. He gladly signed my guitar. After the show I waited with about 3 other people to get B. Guy to sign the guitar. He signed one item and then his manager grabbed him and he was hustled off to a vehicle. I didn't the guitar signed, but I did see a great show.

I've never understood the autograph thing. Who exactly buys these guitars? I suppose 'collectors'....but I've never met one. I've only met guys trying to sell these guitars.

There must be 10 thousand guitars with BB King's signature.

My first reaction when I see these is "can the signature be cleaned off wirthout leaving a mark on the guitar".
