The body finish is transparent. The fretboard is rosewood.

Crimson Red Transparent Rosewood means a crimson red transparent finish with rosewood fretboard.

Saphire Blue Transparent Maple means blue transparent body, maple neck.

It should probably be Crimson Red Transparent w/Rosewood.

I can see where it looks like the rosewood is transparent.

My Highway One looks like a maple neck, but I was told that it was the new Transparent Rosewood. I gotta go talk to that salesman ...

Thanks, I thought it was some other kind of rosewood b/c the rosewood fretboard on my dad's 91' standard is really dark and the fretboard on my deluxe players is more of a lighter rosewood

rosewood varies in color. sometimes it can be as dark as ebony, and sometimes it can be almost as light as maple.

on my strat, it is medium dark, then from the high e to the edge of the fretboard, it is very light, almost maple. my guitar had many flaws when I bought it, and the fretboard color pattern is one of the reasons why I kept it.
