I'm going to buy this guitar for 900$ Tell me please what do you think about it? Is it a genuine Fender or not? The sound is not bad.

I looked at the photos - it looks like the guitar has been modified to have a left-handed standard tremolo. These originally had a different style of trem called the "Free Flyte", and it looks like permanent modifications were made to install the current trem unit.

Pristine versions of these have been going up in price as being semi-collectable (plus there are some folks who really like them even though they proved to not be popular models). I don't know if it's worth $900 in this condition; of course, if you really like the guitar then it could be worth it to you.

a hacked up 83 2 knob strat is not worth 900, you can find pristine examples a bit cheaper than that if you are patient

Be smart and pass on that
