Again, thanks for the comments guys!

I just realised, I never actually told you anything about the guitar in my original post and so if any of you were curious, it is a completely original (nothing changed) 1982/83, '57 USA vintage reissue finished in Surf Green (obviously) nitro.

It was not a 'relic' from new (I don't even think there was such a thing back then) although it is aging quite nicely now. Well it is almost 30 years old itself now and so I guess that's ok.

Strange to think that it is now older than the guitar it was originally intended to emulate when new (if you understand my meaning).

Me too,I love that color...guess we'll be getting one someday,right RJ?
Great looking guitar!...just knowing that's actual playing wear on the neck makes it even better. :D

I've got natural, I've got black, I've got three shades of red, I've got 2 & 3-tone sunburst, I've got Arctic white, I've got blizzard pearl, I've got some kind of yellow, BUT I AIN'T GOT NO SURF GREEN!! Rats. That color is awesome!

You've given me a new itch to scratch.
