Hi all,

I'm endlessly drooling over the bodies they have for sale on ebay and a huge fan of the MJT body and neck used on my 64/65 strat clone. I'd be curious to see pics of your MJT strat projects. I know how everyone likes photos! :D

It was some time ago that I began this thread... thought I'd dig it back up and see if anyone's interested in posting some pics.

This is the latest MJT based strat project... the neck is from a 2011 Fender American Special

Nice MJT Strats! I'm not much into relic finishes... but his aged finishes are very nice indeed!

Mine is Swamp Ash and has an aged Nitro Tobacco Sunburst finish. Neck is a custom ordered Musikraft, pickups are Don Mare 50's, Callaham trem with Fender saddles and Raw Vintage springs.

That's a beauty... I purchased one of their "closet clean" or basically, not aged, tele bodies as well... last summer. The finish was still pretty fragile, and has begun weather checking already. The more abrupt tele edges also seem prone to wear quicker than strat edges. I've noticed that they harden up over the first few months. Maybe this is just the nature of nitro. In any even, it aging (albeit rapidly) naturally. It was a slightly yellowed LPB, which looks halfway between "new" LPB and Ocean Turquoise... fine by me, it's a beautiful color. I know this is the strat forum but here's a pic of my MJT Tele too... thanks for humoring me.
