I know this ain't the amp forum, I hope ya'll don't mind. I just bought a Tweed Blues Jr. I don't know what year it is but it looks as good as new. It has the silver on it so it's not one of the new ones. Man this thing sounds awesome. I would post some pics but all the tweed ones look the same huh? It's yellow. It's my first tube amp and I'm lovin' it. :D
Can anyone tell me what year it is by the serial number? It's B-404610 The guy I bought it from said he didn't know what year.

Enjoy it dude!! Awesome amps!! I have one of the regular ones, and also one of the "relic" ones they put out a few years ago - its beat to crap, but looks really cool - has a little different sound to it - I love those amps!!

I would say you have a 2003+ model I'm guessing perhaps around 2007 from taking a stab in the dark at the serial. It says Made in Mexico right?

Congrats on buying such a great little amp.I was so impressed with the first Blues Jr. I played through while trying out guitars one day that I bought the amp too, they're just great little amps and like Arjay says are ripe for modding.A Celestion Vintage 30 is a great upgrade.

These are a lot bigger in-person than they appear in pictures. I was amazed when I saw one in a store. I had researched the dimentions before and wasn't impressed but seeing one up close it was really nice and the size seemed much bigger. That's why I broke down and bought one, too beautiful. Only other tweed I've owned is the Fender tweed strap which ain't really LEGIT. :)
