I believe it has satin urethane on the back and gloss on the front of the neck. I'm 90% sure on that, hopefully somebody can chime in and account for the other 10%.

The swirl and haze remover shouldn't affect the finish on the neck at all. It's urethane and that stuff is very mild cleanser formulated to clean urethane. I wouldn't clean the board with it because excess moisture can go down and cause problems where the frets are, but you should be fine accidentally spilling it once. That kind of problem happens when somebody cleans the board every day with that stuff for a year.

The American Special has a satin finish neck...the whole neck.

As for the spill, a gentle clean and shouldn't be any problem.

If it's put out by Fender, as you've indicated, then nothing to worry about. Fender ain't gonna sell anything that would harm the finish on their own products.
