Here's what I've got:

Image

I've changed the split to go to the output instead of to ground. That will give you the outside coil of the Neck pup when split. It will autosplit in positions 3 & 4 with this 5-way switch, so the push-pull will only affect position 5.

Now that I've got it in Visio, it's easy to make changes. Let me know.

If you change out the Bridge pup, let me know so that we can rework the drawing.

I've drawn it up with both humbuckers connected to the Liberator. The Middle pup will still solder in. I've also designed it to have the output jack & ground wire connected to the Liberator. That allows you to take the pickguard out of the guitar without de-soldering anything.

jferrel on the Tele forum did most of the shapes for Visio, although I created that Liberator shape from scratch (my first scratch build).

Once you get the hang of Visio, it's pretty easy to work with.

Thats an expensive damn pot, you can make a blender out of a regular pot. we did it last weekend on a 3 humbucker Les Paul Custom. Its just a volume knob.

A dual gang pot with a center detent that reaches full value at the center detent & stays there to fully clockwise? That's what this pot does. It's like a balance control on a stereo.

So where I have the orange wire nut, I will just tape off each one on a one by one basis and do my best to make it look nice and neat .........Thank YOU SOOOOOOOO much !

The original model 59 paperwork mentioned something about how when you use seymore duncan with a fender PUP ( my middle tex mex) that the wires need to be switched, I am a newb, and dont know if that is needed or wanted, but I will just go ahead and hook it up the way your wonderful diagram said to do it !!!!!! Thank you so much again !! Im so excited !!!!!

I reversed the leads on the middle pup.

Before you wire it up, I would like to have you make some measurements on your blend pot if you have an ohmmeter.

Oh, and I resize the jpgs for this forum, so if you want the original (which is larger), let me know & I'll send you a link.

No sound at all. I believe it must be because I went by your numbers and not the way you have the mega switch.

( I soldered the green and grey 4 middle liberator wires together...not taped off)

Gah! The Megaswitch shape is backwards! I've never seen one in person & was trusting that it was correct. I'll have to redraw. You've got it oriented correctly, but yes, 7 is at the forward end & 1 at the back.

I'm not sure what you mean here. The blue wire in the diagram goes to the terminals closest to the pickguard. The magenta wire goes to the terminals further away (up if you're looking at it when you are soldering).

I want to confirm that those pots function as I think they should & confirm which one goes which way so that we get the panning correct. I believe that I have it drawn correctly, but I'd like to double check before you solder.

Those 4 wires should all be connected together & insulated. They are grounded.

The Red & White from what would be the Bridge pup should be connected together & insulated.
