Use the screwdriver tapping to test as you go. There's no need to reassemble everything until you've got the right things working.

The push-pull will only affect the sound of the Neck pup in position 5. The Neck pup is autosplit in positions 3 & 4, so the switch won't affect it (it's already split).

Can you get a clear picture of the connections on the tone pot?

I still can't tell where the wires from the Bridge pup go. Have you confirmed that they go to the correct screw terminals of the Liberator & that the corresponding wires from the Liberator go to the right places? The ground wire is part of the bundle of Green & Gray wires that are tied together, so that looks right. But does the Bridge Hot lead go from the Liberator to the Blend Pot?

Yes to your two questions.....Black ( that is joined with red ) on left middle terminal of push pull goes to pin 3 on Mega Switch which also has a jumper to pin 4 on Mega.

This is bridge wiring photo......they are in correct spot.

Bridge wire goes to the number 10 screw on far right of Liberator. Braided ground has green
wire soldered to it and that ground goes the number 6 terminal .....4 over from the hotwire on the 10 terminal. The two green and two greys are soldered together per your instructions. The red and white are just taped up....you mentioned they were fine.

AND yes, the hot wire for bridge that is on the number 10, is connected through the terminal to a black wire which goes to the bottom middle of the blender.

One thing I just noticed was that I do not have a ground going from the Mega switch body the way that you do on your original drawing. There is a small terminal with a screw on the side, I can easily put a ground wire as per your instructions......only just noticed that.

Ding, Ding, Ding! Winner, Winner, Winner!

I was asking about those 2 connections because I knew there was something wrong there. It was a setup. :) I'm proud of you for figuring that out. :)

It wouldn't keep it from working, but it should be grounded. I was going to mention it eventually, but it wasn't necessary at this point.

Adding that wire would only have gotten the push-pull split of the Neck in position 5 to work. Are all of the positions giving you the correct pickups now? Does the tone control work?

I was so overjoyed after 8 months of messing with this, that I did not do a comprehensive test as far as looking at your original list of what SHOULD be doing what..... but it seems that everything is doing what it should and MORE !!!! The guitar started laying golden eggs, which
will come in handy, now that my annuity money has tanked !!!! ( sorry for the political satire, but I just woke up, and have not had my coffee). It was past 1:30am when I finished the guitar and I was so tired.....but I just had to finish it.

I will check out the guitar with your specs written in bottom left of your diagram soon, and I will get back to you. I cant thank you enough for the patience and help you have given me and my wife was so happy for me as she knew how much and how long this was driving me nuts !!!!!!!!!!!
