im used to seeing you out on the gibson forums and i must say what a nice stratocaster!

heading over to the states on tuesday myself and will see if i find anything nice in terms of a strat...

I've had one for 2 years and love it, with one exception: the Tex-Mex pickups in the neck and middle positions are a bit bland sounding. I recently switched out the middle with a Fender vintage and love it. I'll probably switch out the neck pup too.

I guess you are already in the states... Have a great time! If you buy a guitar be sure to bring it back with you as carry on, on the plane... My Strat is still stuck in Spanish customs... :x I hope to have it in my hot little hands by the end of this week though... :D

i have just come back from the US today and brought with me the same guitar :) it is wonderful and the finish i really love!

No kidding... Very cool... 8) Did you get it from Guitar Center? I was lucky and got my on clearance and saved $200 :-) Good thing too because I got hit with some hefty taxes from Customs... :-(

i will get some pics up tomorrow....

i got it from Guitar Center in Nashville, Tennessee for $1300.

managed to split through customs fine which was nice so dident have to worry there...

That's a fine looking instrument you have there! I wish Fender would of offered it in different finishes. Must be really light compared to most other Fender's out there...
