found some for sale,just want to know if the 62 reissue originaly come with them and this is real?
they do have the customshop stickers on them and all.
what other signs will tell me its actually texas special?

If it has a CS sticker then they were installed after. When TS's are stock they do not have the sticker.

I don't believe '62RI's came with TS's anyways.

Trying to search the old memory here - it seems like there was a limited edition Strat in say 1997 or 1998 that was basically an AV '62 with Texas Specials and maybe the 9.5" radius. However, it also had a 12th-fret inlay that was an oval with the year in it instead of the normal 2 dots and I believe a special neck plate that said the guitar was "X of 1987" or "X of 1998" (the number made matched the year it was made; one year they made this Strat, the other year they made a limted edition Tele based on the AV '52). At any rate, that would have been the only thing close to a 62 reissue with stock Texas Specials.

Also, check the bottom of the pups, one of the pole pieces on the neck pup should be blue, and one on the bridge pup should be red, if they are TS pups.
