i only ask because, i feel that the tone knobs actually do adjust tone.
i mean when i turn the tone knob let say on the cp 60s by 5,4 tone is pretty muffled and useless unless in pos 2 and 4 with some gain.still sounds awesome.
however on the hr 62 i turn the tone knob down and every number changes it a little, below 2 it gets muffled with clean setting.
i hope i make myself clear, its a good thing to me, and im not dogging down the cp 60s btw, just an observation.
so i just ask out of curiousity ..

just a fyi, i was on the fence between this one and john mayer strat, im glad i got this one. imo i can get almost any tone to an extent with the use of tone knobs....

I saw your Strat on the other thread, very nice. Looks like you may have to remove the pick guard at next string change and let us know what the value is. You could post a pic of the underside of the pick guard for our info, if you do check.
