Nice 70's Strat, and lightly relic'd for you the old fashioned way...just as it should be.

Nice Strat. You'll still be able to get the in between settings by balancing the switch in between the proper settings.

Good looking Strat, yep follow Arjay's advice, get the electronics fixed and you've got a very cool guitar.
It's funny in '77-'86 I was a Gibson player, but way before that I played Strats,so I wish I had bought and kept more Fenders, the Gibson stays in the case now,it's a '77 Les Paul Custom.

I never play mine either, it's for sale. Always afraid to break a LP, but I dont mind beating up on Strats.

Beautiful Strat! Here's what the pots and cap look like on my '79 Strat, not sure if it helps... your cap looks original.

If you're looking for a complete assembled wiring kit check BCS, I've used their kits on a couple guitars and they're great. The Vitamin T cap is very nice IMO. You just need to decide if you want .047 or .022 cap and let them know.

This is only my opinion but I would go with a 5 way switch. Those 35 year old pickups will sound awesome in positions 2 and 4. And of course 1, 3, and 5 too. :D
