i have a mexican 50's classic strat, and i want to swap the neck out for a mexican 50's classic players neck, would this be a direct swap? and is the gloss finish of the classic 50's strat neck the same on the 50's classic players neck?

Yes, it's a direct swap. Generally USA & MIM necks can be swapped w/o issue. I've swapped out several and the only thing you worry about are neck pocket cracks and making sure the nut level of the new neck is the same as the one you replaced.

Fender's site just says the Classic Series '60 has a gloss urethane finish, so I imagine the whole neck back and headstock is gloss similar to the 50,
