Yeah...Thats what I was thinking to. It's not like the 7-up green color.

But is this a legit color option for the year and model?

Fender-Japan's custom-color palette changes from year to year but yeah, I'd say it's a legitimate option for a '62 re-issue instrument. It's a helluva nice looking guitar, in fact!

I own a Candy Green EC Strat and it's not that dark. I agree with the above. Nice color.

By the way I didn't see anything indicated that it was a Fender Japan Strat. How do you know it's not a home built guitar. Regarldess I really dig green and think it's a sweet looking guitar.

If I remember correctly the S/Ns were located on the neck by the neck socket.

If that Ebay listing's pic which plainly shows both a serial number and the guitar's Japanese pedigree were a venomous snake, we'd be wiring a tag to your big toe and notifying your next-of-kin.

Thanks for the comments.

That Sherwood is a close match... Great looking guitar by the way...

Any comment on the head stock logo? Is that normal for a Japan model?

Not sure of what to call that color. The guitar looks legit to me.

And YES I am watching it too.
