Hello,

I have a strat neck. (it's a lefty)

Based on the serial number:
E8 + 5 digits = 1988-1989

However, there are also some Japanese serial numbers that start with:
E + 6 Digits = 1984 to 1987

No where on the neck does it say made in USA or Japan, so I'm not really sure.

Can anyone help provide some info about this neck?

I'm not sure exactly what that is, but I'm sure it isn't a 1988 USA neck. The only 1988s that used the "E8" serial numbers would either an American Standard, a Strat Plus, or a Strat Plus Deluxe - but those would all have 22-fret necks and the truss rod adjustment at the headstock instead of at the heel. The neck looks more like a reissue neck, but the USA reissues do not have serial numbers on them (the numbers are on the neck plate and start with a "V").

Yes, I agree it does not seem like a USA neck to me either.

Honestly, it doesn't even seem like a Fender neck, it is a nice neck but is missing key signs.
